Italian Study-Abroad Program

Location: Casa Gregorio, located in Castro dei Volci, Italy
Dates: 28 May 2010 - 11 June 2010
After two weeks of intensive classroom study at MCC, the group headed off to Castro dei Volci in central Italy. For the next two weeks, we stayed at Casa Gregorio, where the accommodations were wonderful and the food marvellous. Daily excursions to explore the sights and culture of Italy were combined with a continuation of our study of the Italian language. The group was able to participate in the celebration of Sant'Oliva, the patron saint of the town.
Of course we also managed to find some time for some shopping and some good games of Scopa, an Italian card game.
